This song has been a long time in the making, but I’m glad to have the opportunity to share it! I think the main point of the song is to give thanks to God for the gift of life that He’s given. Thank you for listening!
Recently, I had some time to finish an old lyric video project for a song called “Sunrise to Sunset”. I’m still learning a lot about video and animation type of work, but it’s an opportunity to grow. If you have the chance, thank you for watching this video! Please see this older blog post for more info about this song, if curious!
Learning how to be patient seems to be a lifelong process for me! This song called “Learning Patience” reflects on times where I think God is teaching me how to be patient and how I desire to keep trusting Him along the journey of life via “walking by faith and not by sight” (from 2 Corinthians 5:7 in the Bible • ESV). Thank you for listening!
This video is a new take on an older song called “Starry Skies”. This song is mostly a way to ponder God’s love for me. It’s still something that’s hard for me to understand, but I’m grateful for His love. This is the first video project where I tried doing multiple instruments in multiple, combined videos. As usual, thank you for listening!
Recently, when I was looking through some past songs, I found this older one called “A Little Time”. Admittedly, it’s a pretty simple song, but I like it. I think the main point of the song is to encourage people to make good use of the time we’ve been given. After all, time can go by so quickly! As usual, thank you for listening!
Here is a “Behind the Scenes” version of a new song called “You’re Much Stronger”. It’s a song that shares about how God is stronger than me—especially in times of weakness—and looks forward to a time of change in the future. As usual, thank you for listening!
これは「You’re Much Stronger」という新作曲の「Behind the Scenes」版のビデオです。
Sometimes in life, it’s easy to get trapped in one’s thoughts. This happens to me a lot! This song (called “Chemicals”) kind of relates to that. Grateful that God knows the personal battles we face in everyday life and shows us patience and grace. I’m also thankful for everyone who helps me along this journey in life! Thank you for listening!
This is another song from the Spring 2020 music album called “To Trust Your Name”. It’s a song that is meant to be like a psalm, and is probably based on some psalms that I’ve read in the past. Even in the hard times of life, I think it’s encouraging to know that we can trust God to carry us through. Thank you for listening.
It sounds like I’ve been given another opportunity to play at the FireFest NW music festival for 2023, so I’m looking forward to that.
Where: 710 SW Rock Creek Drive, Stevenson, WA When: Saturday, September 2 @ 3:00-3:30 pm Cost: Free (except for possible toll bridge fee)
I’m planning to play seven songs—six new ones and one old one—on acoustic guitar with vocals and a drums accompaniment pedal. The genre of music is mostly pop, I think, but I like to put a lot of thought into the lyrics.
The music event has a lot of other artists and bands playing throughout Labor Day Weekend, too, and I think you’re welcome to stay for as long or as little as you want.
The event has free admission, but I think it’s appreciated if you register for the event ahead of time at this website:
I’m happy to have the chance to share another new song! This one is called “Sunshine Walk”. It’s a song that contemplates the tension between being able to enjoy everyday blessings in life while also being concerned about fellow believers in Jesus who are facing persecution. But after the pondering, the song closes with a message of encouragement.
